CORE VALUE #1: We Value Instruction from the Word of God

It is our desire to ensure that everything we do is pleasing to God. So we turn to His Word -the Bible- to teach us about Him, our world, how we are to relate to one another and how we are to grow as followers of Jesus Christ.

CORE VALUE #2: We Value Reliance on the Spirit of God

We recognize that we are human. We have our strengths but we are far from perfect. So we depend on the Spirit of God to help us follow Jesus personally and as Living Mosaic Church.


CORE VALUE #3: We Value Diversity

Since all people from different backgrounds were created by God and matter to Him, they matter to us. That's why at Living Mosaic Church - everyone matters!


CORE VALUE #4: We Value Unity

Unity does not mean uniformity. We want to celebrate our diversity while being united in our relationships, our efforts, and our beliefs about the essentials of the Christian faith. Nothing breaks God's heart more than when His children are divided. That is why we work towards unity with God, with others, and with our community.


CORE VALUE #5: We Value Integrity and Authenticity

Meaningful relationships are impossible to build when we can not trust one another. That is why integrity and authenticity are important to us so that we can feel safe to be ourselves with one another, and others can feel safe with us.


CORE VALUE #6: We Value Generosity

We recognize that all we have and receive is a result of God's generosity towards us. So we seek to follow His example by sharing His gifts with others so that God is pleased and everyone is cared for!


CORE VALUE #7: We Value Following Jesus

Following Jesus is a journey available to anyone, no matter where they are are in their spiritual convictions. "Following" means that the journey is just as important as the destination. We follow not just Biblical principles or morals, but the Person of whom the Bible speaks about. We follow Jesus who, by His Spirit, is alive today. To be a Jesus-Follower means that we live our lives with Him, learn from Him, and step-by-step become more like Him.


CORE VALUE #8: We Value Making a Difference

When Jesus walked the earth, he made a difference everywhere he went and in the lives of those around Him. He also instructed his followers to be the "salt of the earth" and the "light of the world" by bringing life, joy, healing and purpose to those around them. So as we follow Jesus, it is our desire to make a difference in Burlington, Canada, and around the world!
